Folks-

A few interesting Britcars are in today's Atlanta paper; I don't know anything
except what I'm writing here, so please call the owners directly if you want
more information.

'72 MGB "convertible, does not run, many new parts" $600 404-364-0507
'61 A-H BT7 3000 "classic beauty, removable hardtop" 16500 404-255-6156
'62 A-H Sprite "runs good, body fair, lots of spares" 1800 615-479-1126
[a '62 would be a Mk II; 615 is Tennessee, probably
         Chattanooga, but could be Nashville]
'60 A-H Sprite [Bugeye] "blk/camel, 0 rust or bondo" 4500 404-932-8118
'52 A-H [100-4, I'd think] "red, restorable, call Ted" 2500 404-979-8374
'74 Lotus Europa Special "Twin cam, less than 27k mi" 17000 803-556-1015
        [803 is South Carolina]
'60 Triumph TR-3a "frame off resto, perfect, BRG" 11500 404-993-9490

Something a bit rare ...

'83 TVR [!] 280i convertible "29k mi, A/C, excellent" 16500 404-525-7515

There's also a guy listing "TR-6s and MGBs from $2800, all in good condition
can ship, will trade" at 404-308-4605.

I can't believe there are two of these in South Georgia, much less that they
are both for sale at the same time ...

'52 Jaguar Mk VII "Good condition, many extra parts" 5000 912-474-7675
'53 Jaguar Mk VII "good condition, no rust, must sell" 5500 912-472-2266

If you've never seen one, the Mk VII looks like a giant XK-150 (same
greenhouse, but longer) with a Bentley grille. Full rear "spats." Stock
motor was the 3.4 litre version of the venerable XK twincam, with up to 190
horses (in the M model.) Mk VIIs finished 4th and 6th in the '52 Monte Carlo
and won a production race at Silverstone that year, with Stirling Moss at the
wheel. 2nd in '53 Monte, and Moss won at Silverstone again. '54 saw a 1-2-3
finish at Silverstone. Lots of other race/rally sucesses during the same
period, too. According to my Jaguar book, directional indicator flashers
didn't come in until '54, so both the above cars should have trafficators!

All those prices are "obo nego" of course ...

Airfares are real cheap just now, and I'll be whatever help I can be.
