        Another quickie; why are there so few gt6's?  Are they the
        scourge of the triumph line, or what?  I think the car has great
        lines.

The standard answer is that they got caught in the middle: people on a
budget bought Spitfires, and people with a bigger budget "moved up" to
TRs. So the GT6 was caught in the middle when new. Many people who
bought GT6s didn't care for them for a long time, so they were
"discarded", and when people started restoring Triumphs as collector
cars, there weren't many around to start with, and the Spits and TRs
got the attention (again).

I won't go into what B(P)L did trying to market the GT6 vs the MGBGT;
suffice it to say that it didn't do either line any good.

They're great little cars, but fit can be a problem. So can interior heat.
