Saturday was quite a day as I had two babies added to my life. The first was
our second pit crew member and future star behind dasher, Anastasia Nicole.
At 7lb 12oz she is a little small for doing the heavy work, but 19 inches
sounds prime for the behind dash work. The second baby was that the oil
leak, 50 miles to the gallon of Castrol's Finest, on my Midget has been
fixed. The PO rebuilt the engine and left out the gulp valve. Apparently,
the sump was under more pressure than it liked and a minor leak becomes major
under pressure. I also got new K&N air filters and the car seems to breath a
little easier. After Anastasia arrived, both Julie and I could breath easier
as well.
