This is absolutely true. You're not going to talk her into an MG if she
*really* wants an Alfa. If she loves the car, so what? It'll be *her* car,
right? You'd still have your MG, wouldn't you? Would you be whining if she
wanted a Corvette instead? After having the Alfa for a while, she may decide
it's not her cup of tea after all, then you may be able to talk to her about
something else. Or ... you may find that you actually *like* the Alfa too,
and that there's room for it and your MG in your garage.
