Re: British autos in films.......
A few months ago I watched part of an old movie on cable, starring, as I
recall, Ronald Reagan, and perhaps Doris Day. I paused to watch it only
because she was driving a red TD - just like mine. I don't know the name of the
film, but I can tell you that it was set in the tropics, and the TD was
overturned by an angry mob who subsequently burned it. It was more than I could
tolerate, so I turned it off!
I don't have a burning desire to know the film's title but I thought I'd
add my $.02 to the discussion.
