I just purchased a second (yes, a _second_!!) 1970 Triumph
Spitfire MKIII. I will probably strip the car and store everything
that is removable (including the differential, engine, tranny, wheel
parts, body parts that aren't welded on). Basically all that will be
left is the frame.
This frame is actually in extremely good condition,
but so is the one on my existing car. So I don't need it. I guess this
ad is intend for someone who also has one which has a poor frame (they
have a tendancy to rustout, I am told, but both of the ones I have now
are in very good condition- both were stored indoors all their lives
possibly). The one for sale was a California car, I am told.
If anyone is interested in the frame, please contact me via my email
or you have anything you want to trade for. If you need chrome for a
Triumph, or a 1975 1500 engine, or a 1300 or an 1100 engine, or
a 1975 tranny, or a 1970 tranny, let me know. I know have a basement
full of spares, since my original car came with alot of spare parts,as
did the new one! I now have 3 engines, 4 trannies, and 2-4 sets of
chrome all around. I may be interested in trading for some things I
need, which I can't think of right now. I live in Milwaukee, WI,
and would consider selling the frame with some parts, but not many, in
case it is needed to be towed long distances.
