TR6 Diff Oil Seal

My TR6 differential is out of the car so that I can do some 
weld repairs.  Since the front seal leaks I thought I would 
R&R.  However, I understand that the torque pre-load is 
critical and called a local Brit car shop.  They want $150 
to replace the seal and adjust as required ...this sounds 
a little steep to me.  Has anyone successfully done this 
or should I pay the $150 ?
