My son and I are in the process of doing a frame up restoration of a 1974
Spitfire 1500 and a 1975 Spitfire 1500. Parts everywhere :-).
We have run into a question which we cannot find an answer to in any books
or parts catalogues. The sway bar on the 74 has a collar welded to one
end and the mating bushing on the connecting link is slightly longer than
the other end. The 75 does not have this collar and all the bushings are
the same.
Is this an oddball setup or just another weird variation to keep us guessing?
We would appreciate any comments on this!!!
