Ah... I was going from memory, and didn't check the book. So, what I
did is set the engine at 4 degrees After tdc and then moved the
electronic ignition until I got a spark from the coil. I should do
this again, but this time, I'll do it 8 before tdc and then see how
she behaves. This may have been my problem from day 1.

Well, hopefully, I'll be lucky enough to have them dimples lined up.
I'm guessing I'll be in good shape as this was the original cam, but
with a new grind. That should help keep things in line, but it would
have been best to degree the sucker when I put it in. The reason I
didn't do that was that well... I was ignorant! (at the time
anyway...) and well, I wanted to put the head on the engine last.
Why? Well, I figured that it exposed the most stuff and would allow
me to make changes if I had too. This of course was the wrong course
of action. Anyway, The car does run great, it just needs to idle
better. :-)

No I have not checked this! This sounds like a real culprit and could
be the problem I have. The reason I think this, is because the
misfire (or no fire as the case may be) is something I would relate to
a weak spark. I'll give this a shot this weekend and let you all know
what happens. It sure would be nice to find an old rotor with the
wide arm just to try this. Thanks for the ideas!
