In Casino Royale (the book, not any of the movies) he had a Bentley. Not just
any Bentley, but a '30 4.5 liter supercharged that they built 30 of so they
could be homologated. Drove the company into bankruptcy, but also drove to
win at Le Mans.
Later, after Fleming died, wossname wrote more Bond novels. In one he drives
a SAAB. Now, I have nothing against SAABs -- I learned to shift gears in a 96
-- but I just can't see it as an appropriate motorcar for Commander Bond.
Consequently, I cannot muster sufficient "willing suspension of disbelief" to
read ANY of wossname's novels, or even remember what his name is!
