Does anyone know of a service for rebuilding (replacing rubber
isolator on) harmonic balancers? The unit for my Tiger is in real
bad shape and this balancer is supposed to be unique to the Tigers.
California used to and I think still does allow registration of a
vehicle with older style plates (black and yellow for Roland). I
am not sure about the cost or rules but I know they did or do allow
this as I have a friend who has an Econoline van with original period
black and yellow plates. These plates did not come with the van he
located a nice pair at a swap meet and then was able to get the
DMV to let him register his vehicle with them. Check it out.
