trouble subscribing

Dear folks,
   I've been sending mail to british-cars-request@autox.team.net for
two weeks, trying to get a subscription to this list, without success.
Is the list administrator on vacation or am I doing something wrong?
   Please enlighten me, particularly if you own a Triumph Stag and 
would like to tell me what to look for in buying one. No jokers, please.
I know all about this car's reputation.
