I am looking at a '76 XJ-S that dropped a valve seat.
The body appears to be in nice shape. Has
new paint with a couple of small bubbles in one
quarter panel. Interior is 9/10.
He is asking $4500 (Cdn). I checked through a Compuserve
auto forum for pricing. They give a book value of
$2480 to $4430 (US), so it appears he is asking too
much. Anyone have any idea what an XJ-Ss of this
vintage are selling for?
I have posted this question to the Jag-lovers list, but
thought I'd ask here as well.
On another matter, I have four TR-7s in various stages
of repair and as many 3500/215 V-8s. At one time I had
the address for the TR-8 list. Would somone forward
