Hi,

Now, with respect to the steering problem:

I hate to state the obvious, but have you checked your front tire pressure?
This is a common prblem if the tire pressure is too low. You can check for
steering binding by elevating the front wheels off the ground and trying
to turn the wheel. There should be _no_ binding.

Note: the lower steering swivels should be _oiled_, not greased. Also, the
steering rack should be oiled. If you have greased the rack, at some point
you'll need to take it apart for cleaning. The reason for the grease is that
there are little ball type joints on the inner tie rods, and grease applied
from the oiling fitting will not reach these little guys. The repair for this
is $$$ expensive, so keep it oiled!

Bob "I always check my tire pressure first" Lang
