Late last night I got my hands on my copy of Grassroots Motorsports. I
looked up the Editor's Choice awards to see how THE RIGHT LINE was mentioned.
What I expected: That there would be a winner and a list of many more
Honorable Mention. I expected that THE RIGHT LINE was listed in this
group of also-rans.
What I found: Only winners were listed, one each in a half-dozen categories.
The first category was for small, local newsletter. The winner is:
THE WRITE LINE, from the Salina Region of SCCA.
There may be a TEAM.NET connection here after all. Rocky Entriken,
prepared Spitfire pilot, is a member of Salina region and a professional
journalist. Perhaps he is responsible for this fine publication, in
addition to his longstanding work in keeping enough statistics on the
Nationals to keep even a baseball fan happy. I'm not going to assume that
he is the editor, as we have seen how accurate my assumptions can be...
I'm sorry I spoke up too soon. That is entirely my fault, not that of the
person who posted the original report. The publication names are very
similar.
I still meant all the things I said. It's just that the excuse to say them
didn't exist.
