Subject: 4 SALE-- 70/72 GT6+/Spitfire parts car
Converted 1970 GT6+ to '72 Spitfire Mk4 parts car for sale.
Car located in Metro-Boston, MA area.
After completely stripping and rebuilding the GT6 chassis, the rear body
shell of the GT6 was removed and a '72 Spitfire Mk4 body was put on in its
place. This cars was going to be used as an SCCA SOLO II race car, but lost
interest. The following parts (or whole car) are available. Most are in very
good condition; all are in the car:
1970 GT6+ 2L, 6 cylinder engine (complete, running & good compression), 4
speed transmission (w/o overdrive) and rear differential (has new Rotoflex
joints).
1970 GT6+ bonent (front hood)
1970 GT6+ frame and chassis
Four, Very late ('79-'80?) 5.5" wide Spitfire wheels--Widest available for
Spitfire.
1972 Spitfire Mk4 (1500 look-a-like) rear body shell, but in fair to
poor shape for everday use
Other GT6+/Spitfire odds and ends, including trunk rack.
Make offer on any part or the whole car. Can possibly deliver in New England
