If you think you've got hot legs now, don't ever consider buying a GT-6.
But seriously, there are several things that you can do. First, pull your
tunnel cover and replace the factory insulation with a wonderful new product
(the name of which I have conveniently forgotten). It's silvery on one side
and is composed up of what seem to be foam scraps. Works great. Since it's
only about 1/2in. thick, you can use a few layers. Make sure however, that
there is adequate air space between the insulation and your tranny. This is
important for cooling the tranny. Make sure that you have a tight seal
between the body and the flange of the tunnel cover. It is sealed from the
factory by a black gooey substance. 3M makes it in strips.
If your tunnel cover is in bad shape, lay fiberglass mat and resin over
it. Just be sure that it's bolted in place at the time or in might not fit
exactly...Oops. This is usually a better solution that ill-fitting fiberglass
covers.
              Have fun.
