GT6 suspension

Greetings all.

My front suspension (ie ball joints and trunions) has a little bit of 
'play' in them.  I couldn't find anything in my shop manual for 
tolerances concerning these items.  Do they have to be absolutely 'tight' 
or is there a limit on the clearances like a few older cars have.
