SOL Mates:
I attended the local Antique and collectable sale today looking for toy
Mini cars (oxymoron?) survey instruments etc. and any really good old
stuff (thin pick'ns). What I did find, which is of absolutely no use to
me, but is quite valuable to someone else:
Land Rover Series II workshop manual model 88 & 109 from 1961
Land Rover Series II Service & maintenance schedule 1962
Land Rover Series IIA Owners manual } 1965
Land Rover Series IIA service guide and warrenty}both in original package
All are in next to perfect condition. The guy wanted $55 (CDN eh?) for the
workshop manual or $75 for the whole lot. I figure the stuff won't sell
and he'll haul them back home. He was the owner of the vehicle the stuff
came from and had the usual horror stories to tell.
I you're interested, E-me and I'll pass you the fellow's address so you can
deal with him directly.
P.S. He wore a Kilt so he's probably sympathetic to the cause, but
likely likes to bargoon.
