My handy dandy Eastwood catalog has "Cold Shrink Tape", which sounds just
like what you're looking for, although it doesn't look 2" wide. I've got 
the Canuck catalog, so the 1-800-820-9042 phone number may not work for
you, but you can only try....

Now, does anyone know where I can get hold of proper brit-coded wire ??
I've managed to find single color stuff locally (well almost, no brown
big stuff for my alternator), but no luck otherwise..
