This isn't necessarily a V8 conversion question, but for some
reason this particular task has taken a lot of my time and
energy during the last few days.

Is there an easy way to replace the seal(Moss PArt no. 282-410)
page 69 of the MGB catalog? I couldn't think of any , so I
decided to rtemove the right pillar. When I did the slid in
easily and I trimed to fit. Then I had to peal back part of it
in order to get the little screws back in on the bottom of the
rail. That is the problem. How do you get it to fit back into
the channel after refitting the screws? I thought I had it in
place, so I used duct tape to pull the front flap of the seal up
so I could get the windshiedl assembly in place. It worked. I
was able to put the four pillar bolts in place. All was well as
I puller the tape loose, until I got to the last six inches on
the right side. Remember the part I had pealed out before to
refit the little screws? That part didn't stay in the channel
and the flap has curled under again. Any suggestions?
