I have been given a low mileage Rover 4.0 cross bolted block, crankshaft
and pistons as a short motor assembly.
I have a complete 3.5 litre Rover engine, how many of the 3.5 litre
parts can I use to make the 4.0 litre into a complete engine? i.e. can I
use the 3.5 engine cam, cam gears, front cover, sump, flywheel,
distributor, oil pump, heads etc on the 4.0 litre block?
What is the most cost effective source for a cam and followers?
