CONGRATS !!
When my oldest daughter ( now almost 9) was born I couldn't bear the thought
of not driving my roadster. I found a spiffy babyseat with a bonnet on on it,
and added some belts to the back. She loved it !!! Always made her wear
sunglasses for extra protection, but she *knew* otherwise.... she thought she
was the *coolest* baby in town! <G>.
I don't know how old the other kiddies are, but personally when both of mine
were little I PREFERRERD a 2 door. No chance of little hands opening a door
that they shouldn't. It was just a small bit of extra mental security for me.
Sure lots of newer cars come w/kid-proof back-locks, but I never had one of
them ('cept the XJ's.)
As far as ease of 4 door.. heck.... crawling in an out of a low-slung
sportscar is practice enough to appreciate anything higher up on the ground!
But at least you're lookin' for a 510 and NOT a minivan!!!!! 10/10 for
that......<G>
