Missing brake light wire

Hi all...

Guess I violated the #1 rule of listservs - don't post on weekends,
nobody reads 'em...  Email is to be read on company time only ;-)

Anyway, I decided to check out the inop brake lights on my '69 2000,
and found that the 12V+ in feed to the brake light switch is
_gone_... Where did it go?  Did one of you guys take it?

I'd dearly appreciate someone telling me a couple things -

What color is the missing wire, to help me look?  Wiring diagram says
GY, Green w/Yellow tracer, but you know how those things can be
sometimes, eh?

Where does that wire physically run?  Maybe I cut it off when
"cleaning" under the dash, but if I knew where to look, I might be
able to find out for sure.

ps- jumped a feed from my stereo wiring, just to get by, and my wife
