You'd think, wouldn't you?
        It would certainly LOOK better.  But my early '68 came with a pair (PO
got 'em NOS from the dealer- still in primer) that would NEVER sit flush
in the recesses- they're about 3/16" thick, while the stamped-in recess
in the sheet metal's maybe 1/16" on a good day with a tailwind!  The
stamping in the rocker really looks like Nissan meant for them to have a
flat piece of 16 gage metal set in them- and not much more.  A la Jag,
Healey, and (gasp) VW.  One of these days when I'm really bored I may
make a set of plugs that will fit right- till then, the plugs will stick
out and look funny!
