Re: Roadster Sighting in "Any Given Sunday"

A buddy just called to report that he, too thinks Al Pacino's car in
"Any Given Sunday" is a Roadster. You have to be quick to catch it:

Scene #1: Pacino pulls into a parking lot in a grey metallic Roadster.
Can't see insignia as car moves by other vehicles, but chrome piece on
hood vent is unmistakable. Parts of car can only be glimpsed as it
slides into an empty spot.

Scene#2: Pacino and Dennis Quaid, the old coach and aging quarterback
having dinner at Quaid's house. Car appears framed in a background
doorway, a little out of focus, and again hard to ID, but
the silhouette is VERY familiar.

DRO Alert: Despite its shortcomings, this movie was #1 at the box
office last weekend. Pacino is the old fashioned yet hip hero with
traditional values that are sorely tested, but wins out in the end.
Never can tell, his "mystery car" might turn into a cult icon!
