I frequently tow a small homemade tire trailer behind my Roadster - to and
from autocrosses nearby. Total towed weight of trailer, 4 racing
wheels/tires, toolbox, floor jack and cooler is about 400 - 450lbs. Works
just fine, tows smoothly, but the weight is definitely noticeable during
acceleration and braking.
