I was going to ask the NORTH COAST list but I lost the address......
Okay, finally starting to warm up enough to think roadster up here so I tore
the SU's on my 1969 1600 down, just a bit, to get ready for the season
approaching. I have new fiber floats to put in since last fall I sank an
old brass float. Only one problem:
Which side is up?
One side has a narrow band of metal across the diameter. The other side
has a wider band with a circle of metal in the middle. I thought it would
be obvious which side rested on the bottom of the float chamber and which
side pushed up on the fuel needle but I can't figure it out.
How about a little Saturday help so I can finish this job?
