There was a Roadster over here that had an L28 in it. It does fit, but not well.
The engine was installed when the body was off the chassis and the body was
fitted over the top of it. It worked ok until the clutch died, there was
absolutely no room in the engine bay so changing the clutch was a
body-off-chassis job!
You wouldn't want all that extra weight slung over the front wheels anyway,
better to have a fast four rather than a fat six. All real sports cars are four
cylinders!
