Our 1600 "Therapy I" was sold today for 2,200.

When I bought her she was a mess. The first six weeks I restored her by
working every night sometimes all night. Many times I was asleep in the
garage. My neighbors could not believe it when we rolled her out of the
garage. "Nobody finishes those projects." they said. I have learned over the
last two years the personality, if you will, of my little red friend. I
could tune her up with a test light and a screw driver and a can of
carburetor cleaner. No I am not a purest Therapy was not a restoration
project. She was my car built to fit my needs. I hated the stock seats and
wheel. I wanted a stereo that I could hear at 70mph.I wanted big gauges I
could trust. But I still wanted a Datsun with a rich history only those on
this list know.

Now two years of a friendship that few people will understand are gone. I
had no idea she would sell today. Last night we went for a cruise on what
has become known to my friends as the Oreo Run. Just my bi weekly run to my
best friends house for Oreos and milk. They were not home last night, maybe
for a reason. I seemed to know, and forgive me but, Therapy seemed to know
it was our last run together. I sware she ran the best she has ever run.
Even the worn second gear synro seem to perform. We ignored the Honda crowd
as they played with us wanting to race. This was just me and Therepy on what
is now our last night together. Am I crying? Yes. Was it only a car? Yes.
But she was always there when I needed a brake from life. Late nights when I
could not sleep. Early mornings to watch the sunrise. You see I am fighting
Parkinson's disease. The name Therepy is there for a reason. My cars are
my brake from it all. When the wind is in your face you forget about
yesterday or tomorow and you live in the here and now,the way God intended
us to live. His Word says "Take no thought or worry about tomorrow" "Trust
Him" Few of us realy do. Therepy helped me do just that.

So now the Oreo run will be in "Therapy II" our 280ZX. She has a
personality also but quite different.
Power everything. A computer that talks. Very fast, handels great. Nice car!
But! Somehow its not the same.
Many days I have stood choosing which car to drive. Lets see here? Nice day
no rain forecast, cool night stars out.
"Therapy I" Lets get your top down!

I'm sure going to miss her!
