I think there's a lot of value in looking at the whole marque as opposed
to a single model. You got Corvette clubs and Charger Clubs and Mustang
clubs, but these things have sold in millions (or at least bazillions).
Alfa clubs are generally umbrella organizations, as are Triumph clubs,
etc. I don't advocate abandoning our ROCs, but imagine a Datsun umbrella
organization with the clout of numbers on our side. Could be cool, a
national rally/gathering for Datsuns...all Datsuns. Bet we could get
Eddie over from the UK for something like that!
