Yep, stock on the 2000 at least. I don't know about the 1600. You might want to
clay the pistons and see what kind of piston-to-valve clearance you actually
have before you go grinding anything.

Hey Racers and High Performance guys,
I was planning to cut some valve reliefs into the block before taking it to the
machine
shop (which will actually happen soon) and noticed that they are already there.
On both
of the blocks that I have.  They look plenty big enough for stock valves with a
hot street
cam (at or under .490 valve lift).  What are the opinions about making these
larger 
overkill or reasonable.  I think Id rather leave them as is so as not to
further reduce
the comp. ratio from unshrouding done on the head.
What do you think,

Also, anyone got an aluminum flywheel they may want to part with?
