I use a 3 wire sensor that I attach to my tail pipe. It
works fine. I have a 2L megaphone on my exhaust and had a
2' length of exhaust pipe drilled and a nut for the sensor
welded onto that I jam into the megaphone and run a support
wire back to the bumper over rider.
