Dear list
There has been talk about shimming the tensioner on the 2000.  I've had
several apart and I don't quite understand how this is done. Maybe I'm missing
something. I'm putting a head together that had a cam breaking problem,(thanks
to the guys that helped) and this may be wise even though I'm using cam tower
shims to bring up some of the slack.. From the looks of the valve cover the
evil L did its thing at one time on this motor, also.
