The time has come to sell the beautiful black 1970 Solex 2000 that
appears in the foreground of the Dream Garage Poster
and commercial.
This car was done the summer of 1989 for the 1990 Mt. Shasta Roadster
Meet. At that show it won both the Best of Show and Peoples Choice
awards. The car is a very straight and rust free black with black/teal
interior and a black Stayfast canvas top. The custom rollbar has a 3rd
brake light. The 14X7 custom rims are shod with BFG Euro T/As. Other
non-stock items are the early style side chrome and a very nice 1500
grill.
Since restoration the car has been in indoor storage almost all of the
past 10 years and taken out for a couple weeks a year
for exercise. After a recent freshen up, it completed the 900 mile Iron
Bottom Rallye with no problems.
It is now being offered for sale for the first time at $14,000. To
