Odd thing is, Sacramento was way off the beaten track for all the
truckers I talked to. Edmonton is up there, but only about 100 miles
further from Dallas than Sacramento as the Canado Goose Flies ;-) The
point I meant to get across is that prices for shippers can vary pretty
wildly. The range of quotes for the haul between Cool CA (near SAC) and
Sisterdale TX (near San Ann-Tone) was $550.00 to $1,850.00 . Could be
that Grant hit on a great quote off the bat and prices will go up from
there, but it's worth checking from both ends :-)
