Like I said about 400 HP is needed to get to10.5. It doesn't sound like you
need that much more HP but drag comes into play big time at over 100 in our
cars and to go a bit faster you usually need to throw a lot more HP to get
there. The same is true to get a car to get from 140 to 150 in top end. To
go that extra 10mph requires about 25% more HP because of drag, maybe more.
Exponential power increases are needed.

Of course you could streamline the car to help a lot.
