Ok, how do I test the "pulsating voltage regulator" for the fuel/temp/amp
gauge--the thing on the steering column? That gauge cluster is out and we
want to fix it. At one time, when you turned the key to on, the fuel gauge
would rise to past full then fall back to below empty and stay there until
the car was stopped and restarted. Someone suggested that this meant that
the connections to the pulsating volt regulator were backwards, but this
didn't solve the problem.
Do any vendors have these new?
