Hi all,

I have decided to replace all the gauges except the Speedo and teach with
vdo series one gauges on my early 67. I plan on using egauges.com unless you
know of a better source.

I do have a few questions for the guys that have done this.

1. fuel sender type. are these pretty standard as far as mounting to the
tank? im not an electrical guy so im not sure what ohm range it should be.
am I right to assume that the ohm range only matters in making sure it is
matched to the gauge?

2. I have done the 311s.org alternator modification. a few people have
suggested that a voltmeter should be installed and not the old ammeter. has
anyone done this? is it hard to wire up? I assume that it is wired in
directly bypassing the wiring harness.

3. oil pressure adapters. I assume there is an adapter kit with different
fittings to screw into the block where the old sender goes. what type of oil
line should I run - copper or braided stainless?

4. water gauge looks pretty simple. anything special needed for it or will
it wire into the harness?

as you can see I am assuming allot!

any help or suggestions appreciated.

thx,

mike
