That's what its for. Mainly to check
the condition of the bulb in the brake
balance warning system.
I once put an interval wiper control in
its place. Don't put an interval wiper
in, it will wipe out your wiper motor.
I'd say don't ask, by I just told you
how I know.

It turns on red light below the fuel
gauge on my 70' but nothing more.
Is this the "high beam" red light?
