I would only hope the politicians and other figures of power throughout the
world would take these words to heart and live their lives through them.
A person's moral compass does not come from buildings such as churches,
synagoges, temples, mosques etc., it comes from within. It also does not
necessarily come from reciting prayers out loud amongst others but comes from
the words we speak within our minds and bodies in our solitude.
The above paragraph has been challenged by many who would impose their ideas
and ideals on others in their zealous march to reach 'their' spirituality or
moral compass. Rather than look inside of themselves they look to places and
things from without themselves. Their search is doomed to fail.
