I've been going to Solvang since 98, so, I'm a relative newcomer to the event.
It is my favorite car event. The Central Coast area, in spring, is so
beautiful. There has not been parts auctions, but several members sell parts
there. The competition is a "Peoples Choice" so it's laid back and friendly.
It's More about "Showing" your car, than putting on a "Show". Many, bring their
works-in-progress, and tell us "Just wait till you see it next year." The
BBQ/awards banquet is always good, and even better cause your with good
friends. If your within 200 miles, it would be a shame to miss Solvang.
