I bought a new windshield a couple of years ago from Nissan when I heard they
were out of production and only a few left in stock (maybe just a rumor?). I
haven't installed the new windshield yet and my installed windshield suffered a
crack from a rock flying over the tow vehicle and hitting my trailer queen :-(
Should have bought a lottery ticket that day ;-) Anyway, I had the crack
drilled and sealed but am contemplating replacing it with my new windshield
while my dash is out, even though I want to save it for if/when the installed
windshield gets really bad. The deciding factor is whether new windshields
will be available in the future. Reinstalling the dash would be much, much
easier without the windshield in place. Has anyone had their ear to the
ground about future windshield availability or looked at their crystal ball
lately?
