Roadster stuff
I have a 1969 RED Roadster ( 2000) now with a 47K motor & 5 speed) that
needs a new home for ($2750 US OBO).. The car has not been driven daily
for 14 Years but I drove it all last summer and put ~ 900 miles on it.
The body is good , interior is poor and
mechanical is very good. THIS CAR RUNS GREAT!!!!!!! It has no rust.
The car has a soft top that has good windows but needs the metal clamps
to stretch ( and close it )back into shape. The places for the hardware
at bottom are ok. ( I just found that hardware too!) I
have put some more of the parts back on . Windows and windshield are
good. No cracks. The passenger rear quarter was hit ( 15 years ago) and
repaired and some bondo gas come out but over all the body is solid.
There is no rust on the car as it came from Colorado and Wyoming. I
undercoated the trunk and underneath of the car years ago. Engine and
compartment are clean and repainted. Dash has been recovered ( but needs
it again) . Seats need to redone or replaced. Rugs are old. Rear deck
great. 14x5.5 Western wheels.
The car has RECORED radiator NEW WATER PUMP, NEW CLUTCH /PRESSURE
PLATE / T/O BEARING/, RESURFACED FLY WHEEL. Engine has header.
Interior, (complete but needs to be redone), floor mats, and bumpers.
Everything is there . The engine has not been used for 25 years, It
only has 47 K ON IT! ( The tranny has 5 k on rebuild). The rear end is
fine . I have had this car since 1985. Brakes are in good shape when
parked (10 years ago) and I just bled them, they work. Call or email for

541-382-0828 eves. U 20 Motor: Timing chain challenged U20 engine for
parts or whole. There are 4 bent valves and the valve cover has a hole
in it. The front timing chain cover is cracked, Air pump ( smog stuff)
is all there, SUs with manifold and linkage all there, old exhaust
manifold. Dont know about bottom end yet. But buy it all or just parts.

I have a 1969 Blue 1600 roadster that I bought from the previous owner
who owned it for 26 years. It is complete but needs a complete restore.

I have a R16 1600 cc motor, complete. intake carbs (38 mm SUs) exhaust,
distributor, water pump and 4 speed tranny, and drive shaft. It has not
been run for 15-20 years. It still turns over freely. Sold complete
