Probably the Grose jets.  I had the same problem and couldn't fix it -
finally scrapped the SU's in favor of Solex's (which I was going to do
anyway).  I had used grose jets in my SU's for years without any
problems but it seems that something about the newer ones isn't what it
used to be.
