Hello all,
Got home last night after a long drive from Shasta to Las Vegas. A huge
thanks to Phillis and the whole Modesto group for doing another outstanding
job. And thanks to the folks that allowed me to demonstrate carb tuning on
their cars, couldn't have done it without you. Super raffle, I won more stuff
than all of my other years combined. I almost felt guilty (but not quite). And
most especially to Captain Canada for rescuing Barbie!!!!!
As to the less pleasant details, I had a long, quiet (not loud or angry)
conversation with the manager at the Mt. Air Lodge. I think he understands
how very disappointed a number of us were with our rooms. They have put a lot
of work into the place and asked for an opportunity to make things better for
next year. My wife and I plan to give them one more chance. I think that
they do enjoy us staying there and will address our concerns if we present
them
in a reasonable fashion.
