I likewise did the Miata seat conversion and concluded the seats were too
high and I DO have a high-windshield car. I am only 5'-9", but I have a
long torso (only 30" inseam). I recently cut the seat pan bulge off my
driver's seat and bolted the seat directly to the floor. I am MUCH happier
with the results. The seats are VERY comfortable and supportive. I plan on
adding details to my web site on this soon. My seats are early generation
Miata seats.
