Simon,
This is an easy one! Just reverse the wires on the instrument regulator
and it will be fine.
Not related to this problem, but just as a heads up, make sure that the
case of the regulator is grounded, it is an electrical connection too.
(Grounding is not part of this problem, but I just wanted everyone to
know that the regulator does need to be grounded.)
