Interesting email. This guy is not "writing about" anything. He is just  
"copying and pasting".
 
Copying content "word for word" breaches copyright anywhere in the world.  
That's why there's such thing as copyright and laws of  plagiarism.  Copying 
images of a particular  photographer without  their consent is the same. 
Legally, 
it is theft.
 
Sure, if there was some of this guy's own research in there then the case  
for plagiarism may not be as strong, but he has certainly added nothing to the  
pages of mine he has copied. And there is a lot of stuff he could  have 
written about. Like I said he has even copied my mistakes.
 
Merlin, myself and others have spent months and months compiling this  stuff, 
talking to people, sourcing photographs, agreeing the content - and more  
importantly crediting everyone involved. This guy credits nobody. 
 
It's that simple.
