Gloria and John,

I have a pair of five-point Simpson cam-lock belts in the '68 2000; the
sub belts are inverted "V" mount, so it is sort of a six-point setup.

For the lap belts, I pick up the OEM mounting points (replacing with
eyebolts to enable latch in belts). You need to spend some time finding
the right geometry mounting points for the upper harness and sub belts,
and reinforcing them all with good backing plates.

I note that you are also in NY. I raised the question about legality
with my safety inspection shop, and was told that "DOT" was not
mandatory, if an SFI or FIA endorsement was present and they were
properly mounted, which is the big variable.
